The steps for getting rid of your debt sound deceptively simple, but there’s a big “but” that follows them that you won’t want to miss.

The basics on how rid of your debt are to:

1. Stop borrowing.
2. Track your spending & budget your money.
3. Build a small emergency fund.
4. Pay extra toward your debt until it’s gone.

But we all know it’s not that easy.

You need support. You need someone who knows how to make those things actually happen in real life, while dealing with all the other things you’ve got going on. Someone who can break those steps down for you into actions you can actually take. Someone who can go into the hidden emotional parts of debt too.

If you’d like to know more first, let’s start with a little backstory on why I created the course.

You see, I struggled to get out of debt for YEARS, failing over and over again. I could pay the bare minimum on my bills & still eat, but that was about it. Nothing I tried worked, and I just could not get ahead. It was so frustrating.

Finally, I realized exactly what was wrong: I had to change my thoughts and habits first. Then I could stop borrowing and make real progress!

So we got clear on what needed to change and how to do it, and we took action.

As a result, my husband and I were able to pay off ALL of our debt — over $147,000! We didn’t do it overnight, but we did do it! In fact, we chose the scenic route because we wanted to enjoy life in the process. (You don’t have to live a life of deprivation to get out of debt.)

We ate out, went on trips, and had fun along the way.

We’ve been out of debt for years now, and it’s still such an amazing feeling. Being debt free lets us do the things that we really want to do.

For example, we’ve been able to do awesome things like take my dream trip to Antarctica, pay cash for an investment property, and so much more. It is so great to be able to make the kinds of choices we can make now that all our money isn’t going to debt.

We get to decide what we want to do with our money now that it’s no longer going to creditors.

Over the years, I’ve had so many people ask how we did it.

They often end their “How did you do it?” question the same way, trailing off with “I wish I could do that…” and looking wistful.

I wanted to sit every single one of them down and tell them all the things I’d learned. Things that let us to overcome the struggles and make debt a thing of the past. I wished everyone could feel just how awesome being debt free can be.

Then I had an idea.

What if I could do exactly that for those who are truly ready to get rid of debt once and for all?

I want YOU to experience that freedom too, so that’s why I created the Destination Debt Freedom email course.
