Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I live in Newport Beach, CA with my 6 year old golden retriever, and I’m the community manager at Wise Bread. When I’m not working I enjoy beach time with my pup, indoor rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends.

You paid off your Jeep! What made you decide to do so?

I’m beyond excited about paying it off! I purchased my Jeep in December of 2012 and bought it new. I know everyone says not buy a new car but since I had driven my first car (a used Jeep) for about 9 years, I figured getting a new car was the way to go since I didn’t anticipate buying another car for at least a decade.

Can you tell us a little bit about how you got into credit card debt?

Where should I start? My credit card debt was two-fold. I was young, carefree, and wanted to start a business. I was also in college. I signed up for my first card in order to score a free t-shirt. What college student doesn’t want a free t-shirt. I didn’t really care much for the card, but it did give me points to buy electronics from Sony. Since I loved electronics, I thought it would be OK to use the card.
